Unprofessional and Uncaring!!! First I call to make an appointment and explain my situation.

I was no appointment necessary as it was a walk in clinic. I went to Carenow In Arlington for a work related injury. I had been seen by my Doctor prior to my visit as I did not realize that it was a work related injury. I had all documents with me, My Doctors notes and a Report from a CT scan.

I was told I could not be seen because they did not have time to review the documents. I could read the documents in less the 5 minutes. They could not tell me the reason just stating it was "protocol" they had to follow When I asked Korey Jones, the Center Manager what the "protocol" was, he said he did not need to explain this to me. He then stated He will refused me services at his location because he was annoyed that I asked for an explanation why he could not tell me when I could not be seen today or when I could be seen.

No Customer service skills!!! Yes I'm a customer!!! lack of caring or concern. I've been in pain for over 10 days.

My doctor wanted me to go see a surgeon for a consult.

All this was in the documents I had with me. that they could not read in 5 minutes but had 10 minutes to argue with me as to "Protocol"

Monetary Loss: $20.

Location: Arlington, Texas

It involves much more than just reading documents. Were they even approved to provide workman's compensation to you by your WC carrier?

I don't see anywhere on their website where they mention offering WC services - and I'm looking at their occupational medicine services page.

No I don't work for them. But I agree that being rude is not appropriate and it would not have taken much of their time to explain things to you a little.

Yes, I agree 100%. CareNow is a big joke.

I am a physician myself, went to the CareNow in Grand Prairie, TX, as a patient about 2 weeks ago. They are so poorly run-it's a big mess. I had web checked in for the physical problem, so after they called & informed me that the Dr. was ready to see me, I went in and still waited for another 38 minutes to be placed inside an exam room.

I was seen by a PA (physician assistant, who by the way goes to school for only 2 years and then they're called 'Doctor' so & so', whereas a physician goes to med school for 4 years + another 3-4 years of residency training). The nurse finally called me in to be seen, a chest xray & some blood was drawn at my request. After that visit, I've called them so many times to get the results-they ordered the wrong blood test, so I had to go in again 10 days later for more blood to be drawn, to re order the correct test. I just went to get the result today, & when I picked it up-again, it was the incorrect blood test that was ordered, despite me spelling out the test name to the MA who drew my blood.

Don't EVER go to a CareNow for your care-they have NO CLUE as to what they're doing. When I called the clinic many times, the front desk lady would hang up on me, pretending it was by mistake. You will be better off if you went to a hospital ER or some other doc in a box place, but not a CareNow-that place stinks!!! They do NOT know how to run a clinic-it's appalling!!!

This has been my recent experience at the local CareNow. I now tell all my own patients, to NEVER, EVER go to a CareNow for their care-there are many neighborhood doc in a box places/clinics aside from a local hospital ER.

I've seen many of these neighborhood medical clinics.
